WRAP UP: MAY

Slowly, but surely, I’m getting back into reading. I’ve read much in a while but this month I’ve been wanting to read more and more. I still read very slowly, but hey, at least I’m reading, right?

During the month of May I listened to “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck” by Mark Manson. I really wanted to read a book from which I could maybe learn something. If you want to know what I thought, click on the book to read my review!

I also read “A Court of Mist and Fury” by Sarah J. Maas. I started the series a while ago and I’m really looking forward to finishing the series! If you want to know what I thought, click on the book to read my review!

I started reading “Frazzled” by Ruby Wax. I’m reading this one in Dutch because I’m reading it for therapy. A review is coming when I’ve finished the book!

TBR: JUNE

For June I plan on reading:

• A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas;
• Frazzled by Ruby Wax;
• Restore me by Tahereh Mafi;
• Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon (audiobook).

Hello beautiful people,

It has been some time sinds I wrote. In June and the beginning of July I had my exams – 13 in total! I was crazy busy and didn’t have time to read. Right after my exams, I went on holiday and read 6 books in one week! And now August has arrived, so it is time to wrap July up and TBR August!

In July I read:

• The Selection by Kiera Cass
• The Elite by Kiera Cass
• The One by Kiera Cass
• The Heir by Kiera Cass
• The Crown by Kiera Cass
• The Happily Ever After by Kiera Cass

After this series, I was kind of in a book hanger xD.

The challenge for July was: Read a book set in a place you love. I choose “The Dark Days Club by Allison Goodman. I hope to finish it this month.

I don’t want to make a TBR for August, but the challenge I will set. The challenge is: A book based on a fairytale, myth or folklore. I choose: Ensnared by A. G. Howard. The book is based on Alice in Wonderland.

June has arrived, so it is time to wrap up May! In May I read:

• Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman
• The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
• Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

My June TBR won’t be large because I have examens at the end of the month!
I want to finish reading:

• Seige and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

The book challenge for this month: Read a book that you have been putting off!

• Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Hello!

It’s time to wrap up December and start my TBR for January. Let’s start with wrapping up!

In December, I didn’t read all the books I planned to read.
I finished:

• Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
• 50 Shades of Grey

I started:

• 50 Shades Darker

So, let’s see what I want to read in January. There will be three categories:

1.For school

• Wanting – Richard Flanagan
• The Wizard of Oz – Frank L. Baum

2. For pleasure

• Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince
• Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.
• 50 Shades Darker

3. Reading challenge January

My friends and I do a challenge every month! In which we pick a topic and we choose a book to fit it. This month’s challenge is: A book with a creative/original title! So I’ll be reading:

• Unhinged – A.G. Howard

This month will be a busy month, so hopefully I can read those books!
